Scholastika, Fall 2005

Registration:  Scholastika is a chestnut Anglo-Trakehner mare registered with the American Trakehner Association.  In October 2013 Scholastika was inspected an approved by the Knabstrupperforeningen for Danmark (KNN) for producing Knabstrupper foals when bred to approved Knabstrupper stallions. Her Knabstrupper offspring are eligible for studbook inspection regardless if they are colts or fillies.

Description:  Scholastika, a.k.a. "Tika" is a beautiful, feminine and intelligent mare with a slightly dishy head commonly seen in Trakehners.  She inherited the outstanding movement of her sire, the well known elite Trakehner stallion Graditz *E* a renowned sire of dressage and performance horses as well as sire of 9 approved sons in North America.

Tika is a half-sibling to the Grand Prix jumping stallion Advocate *Ps* which sired our 2007 filly Adahlia out of Ala, as well as half sibling to approved Trakehner stallions Holster and A'Osiris.  Tika
is stunning to watch when she moves out in the pasture.  We plan to present her to the ATA for preliminary studbook inspection in the Fall of 2009 at the ATA Annual Convention in Murfreesboro, TN

Phoenix, 2006 chestnut IDSH colt
Sire: Western Sun RID Dam: Scholastika

Serendipity 2007 IDSH filly shown USDF 2008 DSHB
Sire: Macha Breeze RID Dam: Scholastika

Breeding/Offspring:  Tika was a maiden mare until 2006.  She has been a good mother and has crossed very nicely with Irish Draughts for Irish Draught Sport Horses.  She has refined the foals and passed on her outstanding movement.

2006 - Tika had her first foal, a chestnut Irish Draught Sport Horse colt by the approved dressage stallion Western Sun RID.  Phoenix was aptly named after he was born in the middle of the day on a 102 degree blazing day.  He is a super sweet, easy going guy with the fantastic movement of both sire and dam.  Phoenix is for sale.

2007 -  Tika produced a big chestnut (going grey) filly by the eventing stallion Macha Breeze RID.  ASH Serendipity has wonderful bone, muscle, movement, athleticism...and endurance like we've never seen before.  She moves like a Trakehner with reach, impulsion and suspension, but with more bone.  We have no doubt that she will be a winning eventer and excellent companion.  Serendipity is for sale.

2008 – Open for 2008.

2009 - Tika foaled a beautiful chestnut filly by approved Trakehner stallion Oskar II *Pg*.  For more information see Social Butterfly.

2011 - Tika foaled a handsome and leggy chestnut sabino colt by Oskar II *Pg* .  She is open for 2012.

2013 - Tika is open.
